Paediatric First Aid: Blended Learning 3rd October
The full 12 hour paediatric course split into 6 hours online learning, and 6 hours in the classroom.
After booking, about 5 weeks before your classroom day, you will be sent details to log in and access the online learning which uses methods such as video, quizzes and simulations to take you through the theory aspects of the course such as burns, poisoning and medical conditions. Then in the classroom, you will learn and demonstrate the practical parts of the course such as CPR and choking. Please note a non-refundable deposit of £25 plus VAT is payable before we register you for the online learning, with the course balance payable by the end of the classroom day. For school bookings you will be invoiced in full, but in the event of cancellation the deposit remains payable.
It fulfils the requirements for first aid training detailed in the Department for Education’s statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
On successful completion of both parts, you will receive an OfQual Level 3 award in Paediatric First Aid. Please note that the online hours must be completed before you can attend the classroom day – the system will send you reminders though!
